Summer fashion...

Hello everyone! So as May comes to an end (crazy because it feels like it just started!) June is around the corner which means SUMMER!! I am so happy summer is coming because summer is my absolute favorite season. I love everything about it. One thing I really love is the fashion because we no longer have to hide our cute outfits under coats. We can show them off like they are meant to be seen! This summer I think that fashion is going to be  much different than any other year and that’s mainly because the festival look has FINALLY made a comeback. I consider the festival style to be a new Woodstock feel which is amazing because who didn’t love how everyone dressed at Woodstock? This year I think we are going to see lots of dresses because you can rock them with the right sneakers which makes it super comfortable, You can wear them with sandals which makes the outfit a bit more girly or you can even wear heels to dress it up. The outfits I posted below, I would say, look best with either a sandal or sneaker because they are super casual. If you are into the festival look, like I am, check out some of my favorite choices. Some of these are super cheap which is good because you don’t always need to spend a ton of money to get the look you are going for. Play Ball...

Hello everyone! So as the weather starts to change and the flowers start to bloom it’s time that my favorite sport starts up again. Baseball. Since I was a little girl my dad and I would sit on the couch and watch baseball together. I loved it because it was something my dad and I always looked forward to and got to do together. My favorite team is the Yankees for multiple reasons but yes one of them is because of Derek Jeter. As most of you might know, Derek retired last year and it is slowly killing me. Since I was little all I remember was Derek Jeter and to go to a game and not see him play is very weird and sad. Last weekend I did have the opportunity to go to the Yankee game for the first time this season and it was awesome. I went with my best friend Jamie and my dad. Our seats were really good (section 208) and closer then I’ve ever sat before. The entire time I was hoping to catch a baseball but no luck so maybe next time! This game was a very exciting one because it was against the Boston Red Sox. A little spoiler we did lose the game but that’s ok because there’s always more games to go to and the season just started! 

The best part of my day was lunch time(are you surprised?). Every time I go to the Yankee game my go to food is a hot dog and a lemonade because the lemonade is out of this world and hot dogs are my guilty pleasure. This time I got a few other things for the first time and let me just say how amazing it was. If you are going to a Yankee game I honestly recommend everything I had because it was just out of this world. When I first got there I immediately got my hot dog and my lemonade which I have to say was the best lemonade I’ve ever gotten at the stadium. When we got closer to our seats there was an overwhelming smell of french fries and garlic and I had to see what it was. Turns out Yankee stadium has garlic fries. Now I have heard of this before at the Yankee game but I never got around to trying it until today. I am not sure if anyone has ever had the garlic fries from Yankee Stadium but it comes HIGHLY recommended. Basically it’s the skinny fries, like the ones you would see at McDonald’s, with garlic and some parsley on top.. Jamie isn’t a very big garlic fan but they were so good I told her she had to try it and after she did she even said how good they were. Unfortunately for me we got the small size because we never had them before but next time I go I know for a fact I am getting a large! (which is probably really good for my diet lol). I didn’t add any ketchup to it because I felt it had enough flavor without it but you could always add it and see how it tastes! After we had the fries it was time for my hot dog which I was most excited about. I always get the kosher hot dogs because I don’t eat pig (for my own personal reasons) but honestly you could get any hot dog in the stadium and I am sure it would taste just as good. After I finished all this food I swore I was going to be full for the rest of my life. Wrong. By the 4th inning I was starving so Jamie and I decided to go find a snack to eat. We found the most amazing snack ever and honestly it’s been a week but I am still NOT over it. Oreo churro’s. Need I say more? A churro made of oreo!!! You can probably tell I love oreos which is true. They are my favorite cookies but I do also love churro’s, Jamie and I decided to share one and it was so worth it because it tasted amazing! We got a fresh one so it was warm and then we dipped it into the cream frosting and I swore I died and went to heaven. I am not sure if they sell these anywhere else because this was honestly my first time seeing it but if you find it anywhere get one you won’t regret it. That was all the food I ate at the game because honestly after that churro I was really full! (until dinner hehe). 

As spring and summer approach it is always fun to go to a baseball games with friends, family, boyfriends, girlfriends. Sometimes it’s hard to pick something to eat because they have so many options! If you’re at a Yankee game everything I described was extremely good and comes highly recommended. If you go anywhere and see this oreo churro please get it and let me know if you loved it as much as I did! Even though the Yankees lost that day I had a great time with my dad and my best friend and can’t wait to go to more games this summer. Hopefully next time we win and go all the way to world series. Bye Bye Winter Blues...

Spring is almost here everyone so let’s start to get our bodies nice and moisturized for the upcoming warm weather! Last Spring I got the amazing opportunity to study abroad in my favorite place in the entire world. London. This wasn’t my first time in London. I had also vacationed there the year before with my best friend, Jamie. We both fell in love with London so much that we knew we had to study there. At the beginning of our trip we were strolling around central London, after shopping all day, when we went down a private road full of shops. While we were walking this women stopped to ask us if we wanted free samples of these face and body products so of course we said yes because who doesn’t LOVE free samples!  We got to talking about why we were in England and then somehow we started talking about our daily face products. Next thing we know we went into the shop called Forever Flawless and she started showing us all these different products. At first we thought ‘ok this isn’t going to help but let’s just pretend like we are interested and then we can just say we are not interested and leave’, then she showed us three products that she tested on us right on the spot and I thought ‘wow maybe I was wrong’. This stuff works amazingly well. After about an hour we decided to splurge a little and buy this set of products. 

The set included three things one is a body lotion that can be used all over your body except for your face, the next was a body scrub that you can use every day in the shower or as often as you would like and lastly a diamond infused and enhanced facial peel that you use once a week on your nose, forehead, cheeks and chin. After a year of using this stuff I am a true believer in this company. I am the type of person who has very sensitive skin so whenever I get a pimple it always scars and I noticed as well as my friends and even my family saw what a difference this facial peel did for my old pimples.  You use the peel right before the shower. All you need is a little dab on each spot just rub it in all over your face and then just rinse it off. In the shower I would use the sugar scrub. The body scrub is awesome because it makes my skin extremely smooth which is perfect for the super cold months we have been having in New York. After the shower I followed it up with moisturizing my body with the lotion. I noticed my skin was glowing after the first few weeks of using it and other people noticed also. My skin has never felt more smooth in my entire life and who doesn’t want super soft skin! My absolute favorite thing about this line is that it smells just like cotton candy that I ALWAYS get compliments. Every time I am in the shower I just want to eat this stuff up because that’s how good it smells. Although this stuff is a bit pricy it comes highly recommended and you won’t regret the buy. For all three of these products I paid about $127.60 (which was also with a discount because we bought two sets of them. One for me and one for Jamie) however if you buy these three things separately the cost is more expensive. The lotion on its own is $49.99, the facial peel is $179.00 and the body scrub is $79.00 so as you can see I got a pretty good deal. 

I loved these products so much that my mom actually bought my brother stuff for him for Christmas and he loves them just as much as Jamie and I do. If you go into a store I HIGHLY recommended two things. One definitely see if you can work a discount because you might be able to get lucky just like Jamie and I and the second thing is to try the stuff out they have a ton of different products for a ton of things and you might find something else you love from this company. Another thing to keep in mind is that they actually have these stores in a lot of malls now because the mall I work in has not only a store but a little kiosk. Also I know they have stores in the city and even in London so I am sure if you look it up you shouldn’t have a problem finding a store near you. I am very big on moisturizing because I am all about keeping my skin looking beautiful and I haven’t used any products that even came close to the results I have seen through Forever Flawless. Also a bonus is that this stuff lasts a really long time because I have had it for over a year and I still have a lot left! You really get your money’s worth. These products are perfect for getting your skin out of the winter blues and into the warm weather that is about to come.
