Sincerely, Sam: Shoes, shoes, shoes...

Hello everyone! It’s May which means summer is just around the corner and so are those late night dinners, clubbing, weddings, vacations and so much more. But how can you go out without the perfect shoes! I always say that shoes make or break your outfit because if it isn’t the right shoe it can throw off the entire look of the outfit. Ladies, I know how hard it can be to find heels and to find ones that are comfortable to walk in. A lot of the time we get a shoe for looks and not always comfort. I admit that I am guilty of this but recently I found the perfect shoes for comfort and for looks. If you are into the music industry then I am sure you know who Iggy Azalea is and if you don’t that’s ok. Her music isn’t for everyone. I am sure most of you know her from her single Fancy featuring Charlie XCX. This was, in my opinion, the biggest song of 2014 by far. Since then Iggy has come a long way including having 3 number one hits and a #1 album. She also sold out her Great Escape tour which begins in the Fall. What most people might not know is that she teamed up with Steve Madden a few months ago and came out with an exclusive shoe line. I could not explain how excited I was when I heard she was having a shoe line because not only am I a big fan but I, like most girls, am obsessed with shoes. No, really it’s a problem. There were two pairs of shoes in this collection that really stuck out to me. The first pair were the Black Brixxton heels and the second is my personal favorite Paatra. When I first saw the Paatra I knew I had to have them because, my goodness, they are perfect. They come in three colors: black, pink and electric blue. I got these in the blue because I think they are a perfect color to go with a plain outfit to really make it stand out.

At first I thought they would be extremely uncomfortable but I didn’t care. I knew I had to have them. Well thankfully I was wrong because these heels are one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I have ever had and I couldn’t be happier! Another thing to keep in mind is that they look a lot different on the website then in person.When I first saw them it was in a store and then when I went online to view them I thought the pictures didn’t do it justice and I didn’t like them. I will post pictures at the bottom so you can see what it looks like better then you would on the website. What I love about these shoes is how it not only has blue in the shoe but it has hints of white and black which makes it easy to match. If you are looking for a cute summer wedge heel then these are for you. The price is extremely reasonable. They only cost about $100 but they always have coupons so definitely look into that before buying. When I wear this out I am going to pair it with my brand new Rebecca Minkoff Avery purse that I got last weekend at Nordstrom. I am not sure if anyone knows this, but if you were looking to buy a purse, wallet, shoes or whatever it must be at Nordstrom. They now match the price to online. For example if I found my purse for $110 at Bloomingdales they would match the price for me. I think this is an amazing thing for their company because it is going to make the customers extremely loyal to their store.It shows they are willing to work with you to get the best deal you can get. I absolutely adore this purse. It is a crossbody bag and it’s the perfect size. I will leave pictures below of everything so you can see exactly what I am talking about.

The next pair of shoes from the Iggy collection are the Briixton. Personally I don’t have these but my best friend Jamie got them and she absolutely adores them. These were a little more expensive than mine and cost about $130 but like I said look for coupons!!! These are the perfect heel for anything. They come in four colors: black, grey, mint green and electric blue. Jamie got them in black but honestly they are gorgeous in every color. They are the perfect shoe to dress up and even dress down. Right now a big trend is boyfriend jeans with a heel and I think these shoes would be perfect for that look. These. as well as the Paatra. are extremely comfortable and how can you go wrong with that? Depending on which color you get you can wear them with literally anything. The mint green and blue are perfect to add a splash of color to any plain outfit and are the perfect summer colors. Another great thing about these shoes is. not only can you get them at Steve Madden, but you can also find a select few from this line at DSW. I know for a fact you will get them cheaper at DSW because they always have coupons so, if you were interested in any of the shoes from this collection, I highly recommend you check them out first. Even though these shoes were a bit more expensive than the others I think it’s always good to spend a little more money on a pair of shoes if they are going to match everything and also be comfortable because comfort is the number one thing. Now of course there are plenty of other shoes in this collection.
