What's in my beach bag...

Hello everyone! So since it’s June and summer is among us we are starting to do more things outside. Since I was a little girl I always loved going to the beach because I love to swim and I love to play in the sand. Now that I am older I am no longer playing in the sand as much as I am laying in the sand. I have very sensitive and fair skin so I will turn red as a tomato if I don’t come to the beach properly equipped. Sometimes when we go to the beach we often forget things at home because we are in a rush so I decided to help you out a bit and show you what’s in my beach bag. This way if you forgot anything I am here to help! I will post the pictures below of everything I have in my beach bag so you can see everything as well. First up is my beach bag which I am absolutely obsessed with because not only does it have lots of pockets for things and is big but it’s also pink! I got this beach bag at Victoria Secret and what I absolutely love is that on the pockets they have cute little labels Tit this way you won’t forget about the really important stuff! So the first thing I pack in my beach bag is sunnies and I usually pack a pair that aren’t very expensive or important to me just in case they break or get lost. I won’t lose a pair I really love. The pair below is from forever 21 and they are the cutest to take selfies with which we know is a must whenever you go to the beach! Now since I have such fair skin I have to always make sure I bring my sunscreen and always reapply it so I don’t get a sunburn and damage my skin. The one below I got at Duane Reade but you can get it at any drugstore. I really like this one because it’s a spray so it’s very easy to apply and also it’s an SPF 50 which is really going to protect my skin from the sun rays. Of course next to it I have my deodorant because it gets really hot at the beach and you start to sweat and this will just help you to stay fresh and clean all day at the beach. The one I have is Dove and you can get this at any drug store. 

Whenever I am not in the water I am usually tanning (or eating ice cream hehe) but to better protect my skin I always bring a hat. I usually bring my big floppy sun hat but to save space in my beach bag I packed my Yankee cap because it can fold up very tiny so it saves me space in my bag. I got this hat at Yankee Stadium but you can find it at any sporting store! Now how horrible would it be if you left one of the most important things at home am I right? There have been times where I was rushing so much I actually forgot my towel! So I usually pack that first just so I don’t forget it. I like to bring really big fluffy towels just so I am comfortable laying on the beach and also it makes it easier to dry off after I go into the ocean. You can get these at any Target, Bed Bath and Beyond, Walmart, etc. Now usually when I go to the beach I am already in my swim suit, my cover up and my flip flops and I usually don’t change. I just go home in my swim suit and my cover up, but just in case, I always bring my wet bikini bag because you never know and it’s better to be safe than sorry. I absolutely love this bag because it’s insulated so your bathing suit won’t get moldy and smelly even if it’s a few hours until you go home. I got this bag at Annie Sez a few years ago but I have been seeing them in more places recently. I suggest to pick one up because they really do come in handy and you will love it! Now the last things I make sure to pack in my bag are my sanitizer, aloe gel lotion, lotion and chapstick. I always like to bring sanitizer because after going in the water and laying in the sand you want to keep your hands clean especially if you are going to eat something and these are so tiny that you can just throw it in your bag and you’re good to go. I got this at Bath and Body Works because they are very cheap and smell so good so how can you go wrong! Next is my aloe gel lotion which I am absolutely obsessed with because I hate the way aloe feels but I found that this isn’t as sticky and feels much better on the skin plus it’s so small so you don’t need to worry about it taking up much room. I got this one at Bath and Body Works which I am almost positive is the only place that sells it. This scent is my absolute favorite scent they have made and it is such a good summer scent. Next is my hand lotion because I love to stay moisturized and make sure my skin doesn’t dry out. I got a travel size one because it’s small enough and it’s all you really need for a few hours at the beach. I got this one at SuperDrug in England but they have travel size lotions just about anywhere. Last but not least is my chapstick because I don’t want my lips to get chapped especially with the sun and the salt water. I use Eos which is my favorite chapstick brand because I love the packaging and how they smell. I also think they moisturize really well and they are small so you can bring it anywhere. Now of course I can’t forget to mention food. I always bring snacks, food and most importantly lots of water to stay hydrated. I didn’t post those below because everyone has a different preference on food and also I usually just pick something up on the way to the beach.
